WARNING! Reading this could disrupt your life.

So in recent weeks or longer I’ve been reading lots of commentary about the state of the world, sadness and shock at the death of the actor Robin Williams and others.  Intensified rage flaring in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, as well as here in America.   Is there no end?

Well, I’d say No.    And Yes!

More and more I’m reminded the purpose of my writing is to keep spreading the word that perhaps, if not highly likely, everything we think we know about how the world works, is wrong!

And as long as most of us believe the prevailing storyline, the strife will continue.   Though I delight in being able to say we are indeed slowly waking up to the truth.   We’re not minor little beings trapped in fragile physical bodies, vulnerable to every horror conceivable by the human imagination.   We’re actually bright lights as powerful as the sun’s rays.   And instead of waking most mornings looking outside for the sun we can really awaken conscious of the sunlight within, and use it to lighten our own plot of ground, as well as the ground of others.

Unfortunately this understanding doesn’t come in the form of a magic pill you can take, a special elixir or super food, the wave of a magic wand, a trip to Oz, or any of the “ten step” plans I come across daily now via email.   It also doesn’t require us to wait for some life-jolting experience that forces us into the search.  If you recall, the Wizard did say the power is right where we’re standing.   It always has been.   With it we can indeed heal the world, our bodies, our relationships and our circumstances.

But it is work.   Sorry.

It’s adopting a new paradigm, giving up our standards about what makes for success and happiness, as well as our accepted limitations.   It’s about living our own lives attuned to our own values and not following the herd.  Fortunately people are doing it everyday in some fashion with new inventions to help the world, new ways of being in the world with less stress and animosity, as well as the breaking of physical limits, like swimming intrepid waters well past the “expected” age.

We have to change our ways, our ways of thinking, our ways of dreaming, and our ideas about what’s important and what isn’t.  A little hint, love seems to be at the core of it!

I can only share what’s helped me.   Convincing is not my job.   It’s up to you.  It’s your life and I have the luxury of knowing that sooner or later, with or without my help, everyone will awaken to this truth anyway!   But to paraphrase one of the authors listed below, I’m providing this info in case it helps someone along the way the way it helped me.  You may be happy with your life as it is, or you may want to improve it, even salvage it.

Below is a short list of books and/or teachers who promote what I consider to be the truth of the nature of reality, how the world really works.   These resources, and many others came along bit by bit to answer my questions and help me see the world in a far better light when it often didn’t make much sense.  Which was often, from childhood.  You’ve no idea how grateful I was to discover there is a world more bright, beyond what my eyes and ears were sensing.

It’s not conclusive, there’s a ton of stuff out there.  I don’t promote one over another so the list is alphabetical, and I don’t agree completely with any of them.   If none of this speaks to you find your own info.   But do the world a favor and begin the search, embark on the journey to break out of the limited sense of life as we’ve been taught with its uncertainties and suffering.  We don’t need to put up with more violence, more disease, more loss, more luck of the draw.

True reality is designed for each of us to be happy, healthy, and free.   Be willing to do the work, help save at least one soul.   Perhaps your own.

I love the quote from the Wizard, it is so true. Thanks for pointing out the importance of doing some work and the rewards this can bring. Motivating post!

Thanks Lita, more and more I see the solution to so many challenges is just taking that quiet time, occasionally through the day. You’re still waxing lyrically! Meant to ask how you get all those links on your posts? Pingbacks?
